Multi Preceptor Rotations
Assign multiple preceptors to a rotation schedule or allow students to select their preceptor once they are at the clinical site, giving students more freedom in clinical selection.

Capacities

Scheduling Planner and Calendar
While using the eMedley Nursing planner and calendar, administrators can access many comprehensive interfaces when managing schedules: two of the options are highly visual, while one is more similar to a laid out, straightforward report. The schedule calendar shows scheduled events in a calendar format and can be viewed and managed as the whole class, or individually. The schedule planner is better suited for larger programs or programs with more complex scheduling that does not fit the calendar format well. The planner is also highly visual, though, and is optimized for easy scheduling. Both options also display contact information for clinical sites and preceptors, allowing users to easily contact them without leaving the interface.

Allow students to view their previous, current, and future schedules from within the application and export clinical site and preceptor information.
Preceptor Schedule
Track preceptor schedules in the scheduling software to easily access when scheduling student rotations. Similarly, notes on each preceptor’s schedule can be made accessible to students assigned to their rotations so that students know any important details.
Site Schedule
Preceptors and site administrators will have the ability to view schedules for their clinical site to easily view the overall schedule and what students have been assigned to their rotation. The schedule can be filtered by date, student, and rotation.

Student Site Preferences
Within the eduSched interface, students can record their preferences for clinical sites and/or preceptors using an interactive map of available placement. This gives students the ability to pick a site and/or preceptor that aligns with their individual concerns or interests without presenting administrators with an even more complicated task.
Students can find their own preceptor and/or clinical site and they will fill out a request form. Then an administrator will be able to approve or deny the request.
Students being able to have site preference will help them become more motivated and passionate about their education and clinicals. It also takes some of the work load from the administrator because the student is requesting sites, and the administrator simply has to approve or deny the request.
