Case Logging

Student Site Preferences

Students can record their preferences for clinical sites and/or preceptors using an interactive map of available placements. This gives students the ability to pick a site and/or preceptor that aligns with their individual concerns or interests without further complicating scheduling for administrators.

Clinical Encounter Tracking

With clinical encounter tracking, students can effectively track patient demographics, diagnoses, and procedures that they have treated throughout their clinical experience. The purpose of tracking clinical encounters is so that students receive the correct quantity and quality of hands-on experience to succeed after graduation.

Evaluation Rubrics

Detailed rubrics efficiently standardize what would otherwise be subjective judgments. eMedley Nursing gives administrators the ability to build and add rubrics to any type of evaluation with ease, while qualitative style feedback within the rubrics helps students understand their strengths and areas for growth. For user-managed scheduling, students find the preceptor and clinical site they wish to be scheduled with and submit requests to be approved by an administrator. Students have the ability to preference preceptors and sites, can easily fill out evaluations and case logs, and can easily track and compile their information from throughout their years in the program.

PRECEPTORS

Preceptors can store and track their documentation with automatic reminders about expiration. Evaluation reminders are issued when it is time for them to complete forms using the user-friendly, intuitive interfaces. Programs can even elect for preceptors to fill out evaluations using a link so that they do not have to log into the system. Preceptors can leave notes for students assigned to their rotation so that students show up fully prepared.

ADMINISTRATORS

Administrators can easily access any important information from student, preceptor, and faculty documentation to affiliation agreements with external sites. Evaluations are scheduled and sent out automatically, making it completely automated so administrators can focus on other goals.

Easily track the number of slots for sites or preceptors that are available during a specific rotation and time period without any hassle. Clinical scheduling offers instructors a chance to maintain and review a single students schedule, as well as the students as a whole.
